Why do I get different vision in each eye after taking off contacts?

When I take my contact lenses off, the vision in each of my eyes are different. My left eye sees everything a little more red/brown, while my right eye sees everything a little more green/yellow. This persists for at least an 45 minutes to an hour after removing my contact lenses.

When I don’t wear contacts after waking up in the morning, I will have the same vision in both eyes for the rest of the day.
What’s going on?
