The only way to know is to see an accredited optometrist who can evalute your prescription and other eye health related conditions that pertain to Lasik.

the person is probably borne with nystagmus. he would have already have deveploped a "null point" in which at a certain gaze, he will not have any nystagmus.
if you are borne with nystagmus, poor vision is defintely linked to nystagmus. however, you would already have developed you null point.
if your nystagmus is aquired later in life, it is unlikely that it is linked. but you will experience shakey motions in your vision like there is an earthquake. this might account for the poor vision

Nystagmus is a rapid movement of the eye from side to side, generally not noticeable unless very prominent, and sometimes is only seen on lateral gaze, or looking to the side. Shouldn't affect your vision unless eye movement is very significant.

Nothing that can actually help me no. But the last time I went to get my eyes tested they actually improved half a step. Considering they have a power correction of 10 or somethng with my contacts it's minimal. But it was a slight correction, assumadly because I am in my 30's now and your eyes stop changing at some point.

Discount plans offer a great alternative to typical insurance. You have greater flexibility, no waiting periods, approve cosmetics procedures, you'll know the cost upfront and the savings can be up to 50-80 percent. Many also offer vision, prescription and chiropractic plans for free. These plans usually average around $25 monthly vs. $100s monthly on insurance plans. You simply compare plans by entering your zip code and find providers in your area. I honestly believe this is the most economical way to pay for dental after having various typical insurance plans and having 3 kids ... lot of teeth to pay to keep clean and in braces ... I save over 50% on braces and financed the rest - that's what convinced me.
